Associate Coach

I bring into my coaching work my own experience as a fee-earner in Commercial law alongside 15 years in senior management roles in the legal sector.   

I actively work with my coaching clients to help them define and achieve their professional and personal development goals, either within an organisational context or on a one-to-one basis.

In particular, I focus on helping my clients find balance and peace through managing stress, identifying and counteracting limiting beliefs, enhancing self-awareness and gaining clarity on their ambitions as well as their expectations in life.

Stress management coaching

• I work with my clients to help them build workplace resilience and manage their stress more effectively.

• I can help you to develop the skills necessary for intercepting and reducing your stress responses, which can include identifying and addressing thinking errors, stress mapping, developing effective relaxation techniques and managing your work-life balance in a productive way.

Performance coaching

• I use highly effective evidence-based coaching strategies to help clients optimise performance and strengthen relational skills.

• I help you to unlock your career potential and channel your energy into developing new productive skills, while diminishing unproductive habits and behaviours.

Assertion & communications skills coaching

• I can help you practice and develop assertion and communications skills that enable you to set clear boundaries, assert yourself in a constructive way and communicate effectively.

• Such skills can also support you in your performance and managing your stress.

Mentoring programmes

• I offer one-to-one business and professional mentoring.

• I also work with law firms to develop effective mentoring programmes to help bring out the best in your teams.

• Alongside what I can deliver myself, I can also help a firm to design and implement your own robust mentoring programme for your team.

Women in leadership programme

• I have developed a unique programme for women in law firms and organisations, helping women to navigate the challenges to advancement within the sector.

• This includes personalised coaching, mastermind groups, leadership development sessions and networking opportunities.

More about me

Like my colleague Luke, I have also come to coaching as a second career. Alongside my coaching practice, I run my own legal practice as a partner at Keystone Law. I have 15 years’ senior management experience and have held several senior-level roles within law firms and organisations, with significant expertise in developing commercial strategy, developing client relationships and coaching teams to achieve results.

I am a passionate advocate of purposeful leadership. I have a well-established track record of solving complex problems by devising creative, inclusive and collaborative solutions, and I thrive when helping people to achieve their goals.

Originally hailing from Hamilton, Ontario in Canada, I have lived all over the world, including New York, Hong Kong, Beijing, Brussels, London and Bath. I have experience working with organisations and individuals in the UK, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the US, and this – coupled with my own Eurasian background – has provided me with unique insights intro cross-culture working environments. I also had a previous career in the Arts & Entertainment field.

I hold certificates in Performance Coaching, Stress Management and Assertion and Communication from the Centre for Coaching and the Centre for Stress Management. My coaching qualifications are approved by the British Psychological Society and recognised by the International Society for Coaching Psychology. I am currently in the process of completing an Accredited Diploma in Transformative Coaching (ICF, AC and EMCC Accredited).
